By bringing the region's research communities together under a shared purpose, the Alliance seeks to turn common challenges into common scientific progress — and to build, over time, an enduring community of trust, talent and discovery across borders. BR-CESSA 立志成为联结“一带一路”区域的顶尖学者平台,以更健康的环境、气候韧性与可持续发展为共同目标。联盟汇聚区域科研力量、凝聚共同宗旨,致力于将共同挑战化为共同的科学进步,并在长期发展中,跨越国界构筑一个互信、人才与发现交汇的持久共同体。

Inaugural Summit · January 2027 · Hong Kong成立大会 · 2027年1月 · 香港
BR-CESSA will be formally launched at its Inaugural Summit in Hong Kong — where the founding cohort gathers to adopt the Alliance Charter, form the Steering Committee, and launch the Belt and Road International Collaboration Fund, alongside keynotes and the first thematic-panel sessions. 联盟将于 2027 年 1 月在香港举办成立大会并正式启动——创始队列齐聚,通过《联盟章程》、组建指导委员会、发布“一带一路”国际合作基金,并举行主旨演讲与首批专题组会议。
The Belt and Road International Collaboration Fund“一带一路”国际合作基金
Administered by the Secretariat at HKUST, the Fund supports cross-border research, scholar mobility and young-scholar fellowships — flagship grants from USD 100,000. Launching at the Inaugural Summit, January 2027. 基金由设于港科大的秘书处管理，资助跨境研究、学者流动与青年学者奖学金，旗舰项目资助由 10 万美元起。将于 2027 年 1 月成立大会发布。
