BR-CESSA welcomes both scholars and institutions. “Founding” is a permanent honour; ongoing rights flow through term-based tiers — Council (core / governance), Charter (baseline) and Observer — with a clear path in and out.联盟同时欢迎学者与机构加入。"创始(Founding)"为永久荣誉;实际权利按任期制层级运作——Council(核心/治理)、Charter(基础)、Observer(观察),进出路径清晰。
Membership is held by the relevant environment, climate or sustainability department, school or institute. The path is simple: accede to the Charter → become a Charter Member; sign an MoU with HKUST (institutions) or take a leadership role (scholars) → rise to the Council tier. There is no mandatory membership fee. 机构会员落在对口的环境/气候/可持续院系或研究所。路径简单:签署章程 → 成为 Charter 会员;机构签署与港科大的 MoU、学者担任领导角色 → 升入 Council 核心层。会员不收强制会费。
